Dal Palak
Ingredient
  • Palak - 500grms
  • Channa Dal(gram pulse)- 100grms
  • Alloo(Potato) - 1 medium size.(chopped)
  • Onion - 2 medium size(chopped)
  • Tomatto - 2 medium size(chopped)
  • Coriander leaves - 25 grms
  • Methi leaves - 25 grms
  • Ginger - one inch piece
  • Garlic - 5-8flacks
  • Salt to taste
  • Haldi (Turmarik) powder - 1/2 tsp.
  • Red Chili Powder -1/2 tsp
  • Dhania(Coriander) Powder 1 tsp
  • Cooking oil 2 tbsps.
Method
Heat the cooking oil in cooker, add chopped onion stir till it is golden brown, add all ingredients and half cup of water, close the lid of cooker. When steam is prepared sim the gas and cook for 15 minutes or till channa dal smoothens. Remove from the gas keep aside till the steam is released. Open the cooker mash the dal palak with Madhani or blander till it mixes well. Serve hot with hot rice.
