Dalia and Alloo

 



 

Ingredients
  • Dalia (mash)- 150 grms.
  • Sugar - 3/4 tea-cup
  • water - 4 tea-cups
  • Cooking oil - 4 tbsps.
Method
Heat the cooking oil in a vessel add dalia stir till it is golden brown. Add water keep on the high flame till it is dry. Add the sugar, mix properly keep on sim flame for 2-3 minutes. Serve hot with fried alloo.
Fried Alloo
Ingredients for fried alloo
  • Alloo (potato)- 3 medium size
  • Cooking oil - 3 tbls.
  • Salt to taste
  • Dhania (dry coriander)Powder - 1 tblsp.
  • Red Chili Powder - 1/2 tsp
Method
Peel the alloo and chap into small pieces of one inch (1mm thick) wash properly. Heat the oil in a broad vessel (Karahi). Add chopped alloo and salt, cover it with the lid of vessel and keep on high flame for one minute. Open the lid and stir gently time by time till alloo are soft. Add dhania power and red chili powder, mix properly and keep on sim flame for 3-5 minutes. Serve hot with Dalia.
