Ingredients
- Jwar Atta - 400grms
- Cooking oil - 4tbsps.
- Green Chili Chopped - 1tbsp.
- Green Coriander finally Chopped - 3tbsps.
- Fresh Green Garlic finally chopped - 3tbsps.
- Onion - 1 medium size
- Salt to taste
- Red Chili Powder - 1/2 tsp.
- Anar Dana (pomegranate seeds) - 1tsp
- Water for kneeing the dough.
- Cooking oil for frying roti.
Place all ingredient accept water in a broad vessel like thal and similar type of broad dish and mix them properly add the water to make the dough with the consistency that it can be holded in the hand. Divide in 5-6 parts. Jwar atta has no starch as such it can not be spread with the help of Bellan like chappaties of Wheat floor.Preheat the tawa. Take one part of dough, place it on greezed polythene sheet and spread it with hand gently up to the diameter of 8-9 inches. Greeze the tawa with oil, put the left hand on the roti lift the polythene sheet with right hand when roti comes in left hand remove the polythene gently and place the roti on preheated tawa.Spread oil from of edges of the roti and leave for few seconds. Reverse the side of the roti with the help of Palta very gently. Cook it till it is golden brown and crispy.
Serve hot with curd, butter or tea.
