Sewaian And Fried Alloo
Ingredients for Sewaian
  • Sewaian ( roasted brown)- One packet(200 grms)
  • Sugar - 100 grms.
  • Cooking oil - 4 tbsps.
  • Water - 2 &1/2 tea cup
Method
Crush the sewaian and keep aside. Heat the oil in a broad vessel like Patila etc. and add crushed sewaian and stir gently for  a few minutes till it becomes dark golden brown. Add water and stir till water dries add sugar and mix properly. Keep on sim flame for 3-5 minutes. Serve hot with alloo.
Ingredients for fried alloo
  • Alloo (potato)- 3 medium size
  • Cooking oil - 3 tbsps.
  • Salt to taste
  • Dhania (dry coriander)Powder - 1 tbsp.
  • Red Chili Powder - 1/2 tsp
Method
Peel the alloo and chop into small pieces of one inch (1mm thick) wash properly. Heat the oil in a broad vessel (Karahi). Add chopped alloo and salt, cover it with the lid of vessel and keep on high flame for one minute. Open the lid and stir gently time by time till alloo are soft. Add dhania power and red chili powder, mix properly and keep on sim flame for 3-5 minutes. Serve hot with sewaian.
