Ingredients
- Channa(Gram) Dal - 50grms
- Mung Chhilka - 50grms
- Urad Chhilka -50grms
- Tomato - 1medium size(finally chopped)
- Green Chili - 2(finally chopped)
- Ginger - 1inch piece(finally chopped)
- Fresh Green Dhania (Coriander leaves) finally chopped - 2tbsps
- Haldi (Turmaric)- 1/2 tsp.
- Salt to taste
- Jeera(Cumin seeds)- 1 tsp
- Methi Seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Dry Dhania(Coriander ) Seeds whole - 1tbsp.
- Red Chili Whole - 2
- Amchoor - 2tsps.
- Cooking oil 2tbsps
Mix Channa, Mung and Urad dal wash properly. Soak for 15 minutes. Put it cooker add four cups of water, green chili, ginger, tomato, haldi & salt cover with lid and place on high gas. When steam is formed sim the gas and cook for 15 minutes or till the dal is smooth. Remove from the gas. When steam is released open the cooker slightly mash the dal and keep aside. Heat the cooking oil in small frying pan add jeera, dhania, whole red chilies and methi seeds and fry for few seconds. Drain the oil in dal with the help of filter and grind fried masalas. Place the fried masala in a serving bowl add amchoor and mix well. Add 3 serving spoons of cooked dal and mix well to make it smooth paste. Add this mixture to dal and stir properly and check that there are no lumps. Check the consistansy of dal, if it is thick add water and boil for a minute. When it is done garnish with Fresh Green Dhania and serve hot with chapati .
