- Tortillas - 6 (Ready made tortillas are not easily available in India. Recipe for preparing tortillas is given separately)
- Fillings : Grated Cauliflower/Broccoli - 1 cup, Grated carrot - 1/4 cup, Grated capsicum 1/4 cup. Grated mozzarella/pizza cheese - 1 cup, Mayonnaise - 3-4 tbsp, Garlic paste - 1/2 tsp.
- Salsa : Onion finally chopped - 1/2 cup,Tomato finally chopped 1/2 cup, Green Chilies finally chopped - 2, Lemon Juice - 1tsp, Black Pepper - 1/2tsp, Salt to taste, Coriander leaves finally chopped 2 tbsp.
- Tomato Ketchup
- Mix grated cauliflower/broccoli, carrot and capsicum in a bowl and keep aside for filling of the taco.
- For salsa mix onion, green chili, black pepper, salt, tomato, coriander leave and lemon juice in a bowl and keep aside.
- If mayonnaise is plain add 1/3 tsp of garlic paste and keep aside.
- *Take one tortilla and keep it on a flat surface. Spread 1/2 tbsp of mayonnaise on half portion of the tortilla, then spread two tbsp of mixture of filling, spread 1 1/2 tbsp of salsa and then spread over it the grated cheese. Now cover with remaining half portion of tortilla. Repeat the process* for all remaining tortillas.
- Heat the nonstick flat tawa (Dosa Tawa).Greese tawa with little oil and place two tacos in direction to make a round. Press it some thing round shaped and with flat bottom (for this wooden chakla can be used ) for few seconds or till it is golden brown and crispy and turn over the other side and press it again for few seconds or till till it is golden brown and crispy.
- Cut each taco is two parts and serve hot with tomato ketchup

- All purpose flour (maida) - 2 cups
- of baking powder - 1 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- Cooking oil - 4 tbsp
- Warm water - 1 cup
- In a large bowl blend the flour, baking powder, salt and oil till ingredients cling together and hold firm when pressed in the hand. Add the water all at once and mix quickly with hand until smooth dough is formed. then knead dough pushing half down and folding the half and again pushing down and folding for around 12 times to form a soft dough. Cover it with kitchen towel or plastic wrap and let is rest for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Now take out the dough and pinch out a little portion of dough to form a one inch diameter balls and allow them to rest for 10 Minutes.
- On lightly floured surface of chakla put the balls one by one and roll out to make rotis(Tortillas) of 8 to 10 inch diameter.
- Heat the tawa preferably nonstick; place the tortilla on tawa and allow to cook until it becomes puff up and turn the other side carefully. It take appx. 30 seconds to cook one side.
- After cooking the tortilla can be kept one over the other.
- When they are cool may be kept in ziploc plastic pack or air tight plastic container.
- They can be retained in refrigerator for 10 to 15 days
