Allu Poha Veggie Sticks



Ingredients 

  • Boiled and mashed Potato - 2 medium size
  • Poha - 1 cup
  • Onion finally chopped - 2 tbspu
  • Capsicum finally chopped - 2 tbsp
  • Carrot finally chopped - 2 tbsp
  • Green peas or sweet corns - 2 tbsp
  • Garlic And green chilli paste - 1tsp
  • Haldi - 1/2 tsp
  • Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt - 1/2 tsp or to taste
  • Dhaniya (coriander) powder - 1 tsp
  • Chat masala - 1 tsp
  • Corn flour/rice flour - 2 tbsp
  • Bread crumbs - 2-3 bread slices
  • Corn flour/maida
  • Oil for frying
Method
  1. Wash poha properly soak for 2-3 munuites 
  2. Take a big mixing bowl add soaked poha and mashed  allu mix them properly 
  3. add rice flour/corn flour, onion, capsicum, carrot, green peas/sweet corn, garlic and green chilli paste, haldi, red chilli powder, dhaniya powder, salt, chat masala. Mix all ingredients properly.
  4. Take tray/plate with high edges grease it with oil
  5. Transfer entire mixture in tray/thali and set it evenly with plain surface 
  6. Keep tray/thali in freezer for 5 minutes 
  7. Cut it in shape of 4 inch long and 3/4 inch broad sticks
  8. Take a bowl add two tbsp of corn flour add 1 Cup water to make very thin solution 
  9. Spread bread crumbs in plate
  10. Take one potato stick dip I Stick in solution Then coat it with breadcrumbs all around 
  11. Repeat step 10 for all remaining sticks 
  12. Heat oil in a broad karahi fry few sticks at a time at medium flame till golden brown
  13. Serve hot with green coriander mint chatni
